Using Videitos from Claude or ChatGPT
Connect Videitos to claude.ai or ChatGPT and generate videos by chatting with your AI assistant.
What the connector does
Videitos ships a remote MCP connector for claude.ai and ChatGPT. Once connected, you can ask things like "Generate a video from /photos/cat.jpg using my Cats template" or "How many credits do I have left?" — your assistant uses your templates, storage, and credits on your behalf.
Before you start
- A Videitos account with credits.
- A claude.ai account that supports custom connectors, or a ChatGPT Plus/Pro/Business plan with Developer mode.
Setup in claude.ai
- Open Settings → Connectors in claude.ai.
- Add a custom connector and paste the MCP server URL above. Leave OAuth client ID and secret empty — Claude registers automatically.
- Save. Claude redirects you to Videitos to sign in and approve access.
- Done — ask Claude to generate a video.
Setup in ChatGPT
- Open ChatGPT and go to Settings → Apps → Advanced settings. Enable Developer mode.
- Click Create app and paste the MCP server URL above. Leave OAuth credentials empty — ChatGPT registers automatically.
- Save. ChatGPT redirects you to Videitos to sign in and approve access.
- In a new chat, open the + menu, choose Developer mode, and select your Videitos app.
Signed-in users can also copy this from the Connectors page inside the app.
What your assistant can do

Security
Each user authorizes Claude or ChatGPT with their own account; tools are scoped to your templates, jobs, storage connections, and credits only.
Access tokens expire after one hour. You can revoke access anytime from Connected apps in your settings, or by removing the connector in claude.ai / deleting the app in ChatGPT.
