Templates & folder automation
Reusable presets that watch a folder and turn every new image into a video.
What a template is
A template is a reusable generation preset bound to your cloud storage:
- Generation settings — model, prompt, aspect ratio, duration, and audio.
- Source folder — a Dropbox or Google Drive folder Videitos watches for new images.
- Destination folder — where finished videos are delivered.
How the automation works
- You (or your team) drop images into the source folder.
- Videitos detects each new file and creates a tracked job, reserving credits up front.
- The video is generated with the template's model and prompt.
- The finished clip lands in the destination folder, named after the source image.
Creating a template
- First connect Dropbox or Google Drive from Integrations.
- Open Templates in the app menu and click Create template.
- Name it, write the prompt, and choose model, ratio, duration, and audio. The per-video cost is shown as you configure.
- Pick the source and destination folders with the built-in folder browser (you can create folders from there too).
- Save. The template starts watching its folder immediately.
Managing templates
- Pause anytime — toggle a template off and it stops picking up new files; toggle back on to resume.
- Job history — every generation shows up on the Jobs page with live status, and each template has a summary view.
- Retries — failed uploads or generations can be retried from the job detail page without re-adding the image.
